Fashion Advice No.1

Lulu's Fashion Lyfe

The basics:

 8/10/2025

You ever buy a shirt that's out of you comfort zone and then go home to your closet and realize it matches with nothing in your closet, then it just sits in the bottom of your dressers for 4 years until your mom starts yelling at you because she spent money on a shirt you never wore then you tell her you're going to wear it but then it sits in your closet for another 6 months and you realize that you should just throw it out. Well, I am here to make sure that this stops happening.
Hello and welcome to Lulus Fashion Lyfe, this is where you'll find help to achieve your dream Pinterest wardrobe. I would like to start off by saying I am NOT a professional fashion adviser. I will be giving you guys advice purely based on my opinion and what I would consider a cute outfit. Today, we're going to start with the basics. The essentials you need in your wardrobe. The key to creating a glamorous wardrobe is having a base to start with, then slowly building from there on.

                                              Jeans

Not to be dramatic, but I would die for a good pair of jeans. A good pair of jeans will change your entire outfit. I am specifically talking about baggy jeans, mom jeans, and boyfriend jeans. All of these are fine. You need to make sure that the jeans you buy can fit your waist just enough to fit 2 fingers in the waist area. If you cannot fit 2 fingers on your stomach, it will overflow your waist, and it's way too tight, and if they begin to slip down, they are too big.

I'm not going to lie, jeans are expensive, it's hard to find a good pair of jeans that are also not $100 a pair, but there are many shops where you can find affordable jeans. Some of my favourite shops are Hollister, Motelrocks, or your local thrift store. When choosing jeans, it's best to start off with at least 3 pairs of jeans, lightwash, mediumwash and darkwash. Having three different shades will give you many options for outfits. Thanks for reading, stay tuned for next Sunday where I'll be talking about essential basic tops.
